Meet Me at the Pumpkin Patch

We met up at Rich Farm's for Kids Day at the Farm. Hay rides, a forest playground, pumpkin patches, and feeding the animals wore the kids out! Each kid was able to take home a free pumpkin and a decorating kit as a souvenir from their fun day at the farm.

For our first Field Trip Friday we went to Alpaca Acres. We got to meet the animals, learn about how they care for them and what their wool is used for, then everyone went out to the field to play. They have duck races, a giant slide built in the hillside, a large bounce mat, barnyard basketball, a sand and tire pit, and much more! the kids and adults all seemed to have a great time! 

End of Year Zoo Trip

To finish out the year of Co-Op we took a trip to Hovatter's Wildlife Zoo! The kids had a great time even as we fought the rain. We had a great year and can't wait to continue with Field Trip Friday's next year!

Kiddie Days at The WVU Research Farm

Our Co-Op group had a great time visiting the WVU Davis College Research Farm for Kiddie Days. The kids had a blast learning about insects at the insect zoo, dairy calves and what they eat, baby chicks, turkeys, lambs, sheep, donkeys, a lama, cows, ducklings, and even got to practice milking a cow. 

Co-Op Easter Party

Our kids had an amazing day celebrating Easter. We started the morning watch a video to remind them of the real meaning of Easter. I explained Jesus's ministry, some of the miracles he preformed, and then walked them through Holy Week. 

They then made resurrection rolls with Mrs. Kelbi, and crafts with Mrs. Susie.

The parents provided a wonderful lunch, and after we finished eating the kids had a great egg hunt.

Valentines Party at Co-Op

Our kids made some pretty awesome Valentines boxes, ate some great food, and played few rounds of bingo. The kids and their parents has a great time making memories and being creative. 

Apple Butter

During our On Target Fall Fest 2023 our Co-Op group made apple butter to sell as a fundraiser for the group. The kids were active in adding ingredients, stirring, canning, and selling the apple butter. Everyone had a great time and we sold out!
